Alex Ramsay
is a photographer based in the UK, where he lives in the Welsh
Marches and runs Alex Ramsay Photography. He specialises in the
photography of interiors, lifestyle, gardens, architecture and
travel. His photographs appear in many books and leading magazines
worldwide. Recent publications include
Great Gardens of Britain,
Italy's Private Gardens and
The Gardens of Japan,
all
by Helena
Attlee, and
A Glimpse of Heaven: Catholic Churches of England
and Wales,
by
Christopher Martin. The next book will be
The Gardens of Cornwall, to be published in
Spring 2012 by Frances Lincoln Ltd. He is currently working on a
major new book on the gardens of Venice and the Veneto. Studio work
undertaken for many artists, craftspeople and organisations such as
the Sainsbury Foundation. Corporate clients have included Pfizer,
